Last week’s Cross-Industry Sustainable Collaboration session at the EMEX Sustainability & Net Zero Theatre brought together leaders driving sustainable business practices across sectors. The panel explored how organisations can accelerate progress toward net-zero through collaboration, shared strategies, and cross-industry learning.
A huge thank you to the contributors who represented our network and three of our sector forums within the Sustainable Business Consortium: finance, airports, and logistics. Your insights and examples highlighted the depth of expertise within our community—and demonstrated the tangible benefits of collaborative action.
We were proud to see:
-
Ian Lane, Energy Efficiency Manager at NATS, representing the airports sector and sharing valuable insights on decarbonising complex operational systems.
-
Sophie Mason, Energy & Sustainability Lead at Coventry Building Society, bringing the finance sector perspective on embedding sustainability into governance and decision-making.
-
Yasmin Wilks, contributing practical, fleet operational perspectives from the logistics sector.
With Matteo Deidda, Global Net Zero Lead at Tide, hosting the panel, the discussion was both inspiring and pragmatic, providing attendees with actionable pathways to accelerate net-zero goals.
Thank you again to all our representatives for showcasing the strength of our network and championing cross-industry collaboration. Conversations like these drive collective ambition forward and reinforce the purpose of our consortium: helping organisations achieve sustainable change together.
