Gillian is a Senior Manager at Lloyds Banking Group, where she leads sustainability strategy across the Group’s operational portfolio to support its net zero ambitions. With 20 years’ experience in both public and private sector energy and sustainability roles, she has delivered major energy optimisation and renewable projects in complex building environments. Outside of work, Gillian chairs the Empowering Women in Energy and Sustainability group and is a Director at West Dunbartonshire Energy Company.

Matteo Deidda

Matteo Deidda is a seasoned sustainability leader, currently working as Global Net Zero Lead at Tide, a global fintech, where he leads the organisation’s decarbonisation strategy and supports SMEs globally on their net-zero journeys. With more than a decade of experience in corporate sustainability, Matteo has driven sustainability transformations within FTSE 100 companies across retail (Sainsbury’s), technology (Vodafone UK), finance (Lloyds Banking Group). Matteo also contributes to the sustainability community as a Chartered Energy Manager, CISL Assessor, startup mentor, and advisory board member, including roles at PlanetMark and EMEX. Passionate about pragmatic, purpose driven environmental sustainability integration, he champions scalable, innovative and inclusive climate solutions for SMEs and large organisations alike.

Tom Denton

Tom is Head of Sustainability at Birmingham Airport, leading the airport’s net zero and environmental strategy. With over 25 years’ experience across aviation, automotive, and consultancy sectors, he has delivered major sustainability programmes including waste reduction, carbon management, and air quality initiatives. Tom previously headed sustainability at Gatwick Airport, where he launched the ‘Decade of Change’ strategy, and he continues to drive innovation in energy efficiency, recycling, and climate resilience across aviation operations.
